I've got an old doll that is antique (I just gotta be carefull...) I'm using for my doll pics. Figured that would be unique.

For the stratified figure project, I'm still working on the thumbnail. I think I'm going ot use highways and make it feel very tall, maybe make it a night scene. I also thought about using vines.

On my reflective figure project I did go around taking pictures of reflections, but ended up with one of the first ideas I had in mind. I have a platform from a sculpture class I took this summer that has broken mirrors on a textured black surface. I had my fiance stand in front of the mirrors and I took several pictures to use. I'm using three images of him to have three figures in the painting and will show the background as well.

first project

On my first project I did a self portrait with two figures in a forest scene with water. I wanted to do something a bit more surreal, use colors I don't usually use. I've only painted figures once before, I find if more challanging than other subjects.
